Well folks, I hope you have all your tax day submittals in and are not stressing about today’s deadline. In most cases, for the self-employed or corporate tax-filers, your deadline for quarterly tax filing should have come and went.
My main worry this year was how to reconcile different activity with not working and having sporadic contract assignments through the year, but my wife and I were able to weather the tax nightmare with relatively light pain and suffering.
I would be curious to hear from others on how it was this year to file, and any lessons learned. For me the biggest eye-opener was that we could contribute $5000.00 towards last year’s taxes per person. This was a big help, as far as lowering our tax liability.
Anyone else?
