Hi folks,

Here’s a short list of some pending blog posts that I am working on.  Usually, I do all of the legwork, surrender all the BS&T (that’s “blood, sweat, and tears”), and take all the credit, but considering the level and scope of content, I am actively looking for contributions and input from others.  If anyone is interested, please email me at mycareercoach@yahoo.com to discuss.  Or please respond to this blog with comments, suggestions, etc.

Now on to the list:

Post# 1 – Hiring Trends Follow-up:

This is to follow-up my Hiring Trends post for 2009-2010 (click here for the original post).  What I am adding to this post is additional information on areas where jobs may become available (so far, I have collections, low-cost fitness (self-help, home remedies), cosmetics, social networking tools).

Post# 2 – Physician, Heal Thyself…..you too, Jobseekers

A little tongue-in-cheek write up on preconceived notions of Silicon Valley jobseekers and how to replace complacency with effective efforts for landing a job.

Post# 3 – Sought & Found – Job Search Trials, Tribulations, & Lessons Learned

This post is self-explanatory.  I am interested in compiling the general impressions of folks and maybe sharing ways to overcome what is thrown at us.

Post# 4 – Done My Daily Search and Follow-up, What Else Is On?

What to do to keep your spirits up in a troubling and declining job market.  Suggestions (other than job search activities) to maintain a well-rounded and healthy existence.

Post# 5 – I Know, I Know…..Not Me Right?

How to respond to being rejected for a job.  This post includes strategies for finding the silver lining in the rejection, how to obtain secondary and/or tertiary objectives that could still prove valuable, how to position yourself for the oft-chance that the first choice falls through, etc.
